What is this world coming to....first Mike....now Steve....like Marvin Gaye said " whats goin on"....im serious. This is startin to really get me out of my zone...like what is goin to happen next...Obama?! I believe God is giving us a sign that the end is near....just look on the news....WW3 is just ariund the corner...South Korea is set to make war in everyone with the launch on their supposedly practice missiles. Life is really to short. If you dont believe me look at the age of the icon that have recently died. Most of them are either in there early 50s or younger. It doesnt even feel safe to go outside anymore without someone peeping your everymove. I dont even carry cash on me anymore for the simple fact that people are robbing each other left and right. Its carzy out here now-a days. When will all this massive killing and negativity come to a stop? I honestly think never. The day it will stop will be the day God comes and rescues those that are victims of this brutal society that we call home. I felt that i needed to drop this little blog just for the sake of our people....something for people to read and think about in this time of help.

1.In the article, the justices and lawyers are arguing over the issue of the kinds on drugs Redding was accused of having and whether strip searching a middle school student was appropriate. the argument that was the strongest was Justice David Souters. He explained that he would rather embarrass a child over a strip search than have a child die because of the drug and everything just be forgotten.

2. My procedure and conduct for strip searches in middle schools would be to treat the student with respect all times during the process. In the procedure, students would undress in a empty room and have a rope to cover up with. Administrators would come in the room and check the room for anything. I would also hold random strip searching once a month. The kids would notified before hand of the consequence faced.

3. In the case of Savanna Redding, if she was found with prescription drugs, my opinion would most definitely would change about the situation. In this situation, the school should just be honest about the situation and add that if the drugs were in her possession, she could have done harm to other students.

My ideal university would be a 3 year school. Having to take all of those general education classes are what makes students stay in college for four years. Students would only have to take classes that pertain to their major. In my ideal universiy, classes would not start until 12 o'clock. That gives students with jobs enough time to get their work done after work and get some sleep. In my ideal univerisity, the price of parking would be free. Students already pay enough to attend school, they shouldnt hurt their picket having to pay for parking too. Also in my indeal university, the grading curriculm would constist of three tests through out the semester for each course. In some classes students are tested every week. Studenst need time to study for other their courses. Testing in a subject every week keeps them focused on one particul subject more their other subjects.

1. After the considering the arguements, i would say that the visual and texual rhetoric of the shirt is very creative and connects with a younger crowd. The visual rhetoric of the shirt expresses a feeling of connection and and peace. The textual rhetoric of the shirt is a great way to attract younger people. When people see this shirt, they automatically get a more chill and urban representaion of Jesus. I believe the first shirt gives a more relaxed and urban appeal than the first one does. From viewing both of the shirts, i dont see it as being being a parody spoof. With being a Christian, i dont see these shirts as something negative. I see it as a way to to reach out to different groups of people.

3.I f the shirts only containted the text, it would change the rhetorical alot. The shirt would just be a a plain phase without any kind of imagination behind it. IIf it only had the texts, it would definatly change the way I react to the shirt but not a lot. When i see the shirt, i imagine myself with Jesus. If the shirthad only the text, it would be less of an image because its only words. With the visual, you can imagine Jesus being someone thats someone you can chill with and talk to on a comfortable level.
4.For the shirt on the left, I interpret this shirt as Jesus being just super cool and and chill. The facial expression of Jesus just seems like Hes really cool and all about peace. the coloring of the shirt shows Jesus as being a very a very calm person but a serious person at the same time. The shirt shows a lot of red. I believe this represents the blood of Jesus. In the shirt on the right, I interpret shirt as Jesus being protrayed on a more serious level. The gestures that He makes shows he trying to reach out to you. Hes holding the text almost like Hes wanting to give it to you

Explanation: This song discuss the issue of gun violence amongst minorities stop. The lyrics of the song talks about how African american people are killing each other and how the violence has to stop in order to get move on to greater things. The song also talks about how resolving problems through discussion is the best resolution.

Explanation: This song is about relationships with women and how to make them last. The lyrics of the song talks how to please women and when in a relationship with a female, how to make it last. This song talks also gives advice on what to do in certain situations when things between you and her look a litle tough.

Genre: Pop

Explation: This song is about starting off with nothing and being at the bottom of the mountain to climbing the mountain and being at the top. The lyrics of the song talk about growing up in an enviroment that has offers nothing to live for. You finally decide that your going to do something with your life and you later become successful. This song is an inspiration song that letting people know that anything is possible if you keep pressing on.

4. Song title: " Its my time"

Genre: Country

Explanation: This song is about facing obstacles in the past and over coming them. The lyrics of this song talk about a man that has lived a life of ups and downs and has finally come to a point in his life were enjoyment and excitement seems to appear continuosly. This song talks about how things may seem bad in the beginning but in time things will turn to the bright side.

5. Song title: "Im blessed"

Genre: Gospel

Explanation: This song is about how God does things to you that you cant explain. The lyrics of this song talk about how a God sends people in your life that you wouldnt ever imagine. This song talks about how the people sent form God play important role in certain situations of your life that benefit you.

2. The song that I choose to describe the lyrics of is " How can we make this work". This is a R&B song about problems that men go through with women. The lyrics of this song make you think about the problems that you have when in a relationship with someone and how to work it out instead of giving up on it. The song has a slow and relaxing tone to it. The tempo of the song has a serious feel to it. The song gives advice on how to handle situations with your partner when things seems to never get better.

3. The title of the cd would be " Work With It". The title of the cd gives a overall view of what the music going to be about when talking about relationships.
